We are searching for an experienced sales engineer to cover the entire Bay Area of Northern California. The sales engineer will be responsible for maintaining and growing the current account base and will also be expected find new prospects and generate new business across the area. The ideal sales engineer will spend 80% of the time traveling throughout the region visiting customers and will be able to work from a home office base.

What you will do:
-Responsible for direct sales and support of all ECT Fixture and Services Group products and services with customers in the Bay Area, CA.
-Make on-site visits to all of ECT’s current and target customers in the territory.
-Develop and submit the sales forecast for the territory.
-Review data, statements-of-work, and other customer documents to develop and prepare request-for-quotations.
-Provide technical training and services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
-Research new company techniques and technologies in order to understand customer issues and propose effective solutions that will increase new business.

What are our requirements:

-Minimum of two years college or technical certification in electronic engineering. BS or BEE preferred.
-3 years minimum of sales experience. Previous sales experience with ICT and/or functional test technologies preferred.
-3 to 5 years of test programming or test technician experience preferred.
-Ability to install or support Agilent 307x test programs in the field is preferred.
-Must have superior sales skills.
-Must be a proven and successful closer in sales.
-Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
-Must have excellent communications skills- Verbal and written.
-Must have strong interpersonal skills.
-Must possess a professional attitude and approach to doing the job.
